Midleton AC Ladies take 3rd Team Prize
Anna Doris, Margaret Jones and Sheila Buckley once again did the club proud in taking 3rd place for our ladies team.
The Agony and The Ecstasy
In what were almost ideal conditions the crowds took once again to the roads of Ballycotton. Mostly our members had great runs and loads of PBs were got whilst a few suffered and did not achieve what they deserved. We saw a brilliant run from Eoin Murphy with a time of 62.47 and also a great run from Eugene McCarthy with 62.59 whilst out third home was Morgan O'Regan with 64.11.
Anna Doris was our first lady with 65.19 (12th overall lady) and Don Ryan had another PB with the same time. Margaret Jones ran very well as always to get 3rd O/45.
A big thank you also to all our supporters who came out to cheer their fellow club mates on. Every cheer and drop of water helped. We can't say we did not have water at the three and seven mile marks with Svetlana and Rayleen on duty. Also a big thank you to Alan Kelleher and the Social Committee who organised the great night that was had in the Maple after the race.
