To whom it concerns,

I am a PhD student in the University of Limerick. I am running a short
online survey targeted at female distance runners aged between 18 and 35
years. I would be grateful if you could forward the below email to any
eligible athletes in your contact lists. If you have further queries please
do not hesitate to contact me. I have also included a flyer which can be
circulated by email or social media.

Many thanks,

Dear athlete,

A research group at the University of Limerick are assessing bone health in
female middle and long distance runners. Poor bone health can lead to
injuries and affect long term health and quality of life.

This survey will take a maximum of 15 minutes to complete. It will ask you
about bone injuries and any diagnosis of bone health if known. By
completing this survey, you are contributing to valuable research that may
influence how we promote athlete health and performance.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. You can withdraw from the survey
without explanation at any point.

If you have any questions, please contact:

Jennifer Higgins (jennifer.higgins@ul.ie)

Phil Jakeman (phil.jakeman@ul.ie)

The survey is accessible at the following link:
